All about myself

Hello, there! Welcome to my blog.

Before you start exploring my page, it's not a bad idea to get to know each other a little bit better first.

I'll start.

My name is Rafindra Bhima. I am a 10th grader student. I live in Bandung, Indonesia. Here, 10th graders are in first year of High School, unlike there in the states. I study at SMAN 3 Bandung, a very well known A.K.A the best public school in Bandung, nay, the best one in West Java. Highschool wasn't a very big part of my plan, I didn't really put much thoughts into where I'm going for High School. So getting into SMAN 3 wasn't really in my life plan. Well, it's not like I had any plan for where I'm going to High School anyway LOL.

My hobby; it's a really tricky question. What is a hobby? Is it something you do for fun? Is it something you do for work? Is it something you do when you're bored? Me personally, I like to sleep when I'm bored. Which isn't very effective because in order to sleep, you have to get sleepy first, which isn't something one can control however they want. So when I'm bored and I don't feel like sleeping, I usually open TikTok. I mean, let's be honest, who doesn't nowadays? But if hobbies are something you like to do, but isn't something you always do-just when you feel like it, but it's something that doesn't cross the line to passion, then my hobby is binge watching. I LOVE enjoying a nice movie, or a funny series-typically sitcom-whilst lying on my bed with the AC on. It's my type of jam! My favorite series got to be Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I don't even keep track to how much I've re-watched the show anymore. Although I don't have a favorite movie. I can name good movies, but I don't consider any of them my favorite. I watch movies a lot, too much for me to like a particular one more than the other.

I love debating and researching. I like talking to myself everywhere; at home, at school, even at public places. Thinking out loud is something I like to do. I feel like talking to myself helps me gaining my confidence and helps me speak better. I like debating, because I'm a critical thinker and I like sharing my thoughts with people. I also love researching, I love scrolling though the internet and watching insightful videos to make me better understand something whether it is a situation or a subject. After researching, sometimes I'll make an essay about it. That's probably why I'm quite good at writing. Last year, I joined an english story telling competition. I loved it so much, because I got to use my skills. I made a video regarding Nikola Tesla and Leonard Kleinrock, where in order to do so I had to make my own script so I had to do my research and write an essay about it. Then, I used my speaking skills to tell everyone about it through 2 YouTube videos. I won second place, it was a bummer at first but now I've come to my realization that everything happens for a reason. Maybe god didn't give me first place because I didn't work hard enough or I have to level up my skills. Whatever the reason is I'm sure it's for a good cause.

I have my life all planned out, and the next thing I have to do after getting into High School, is college. I want to get into the University of Indonesia. Why? Oh, I don't know, I mean it's only the best university in the country! I will enroll myself to the law faculty, because I'm very interested in laws and politics. Speaking of, I don't know how it works yet but I want to gain multiple degrees when I graduate. I want to gain a law degree, a politics degree, and a business degree. After I graduate, I will continue my study to the states, specifically to Harvard Law where I will gain my masters degree there. After I graduate Harvard, I will join the best international law firm in Indonesia and probably make it instantly to mid associate or better yet senior associate there. And maybe if it all works out well, I will get into politics to get my hands dirty with the many disgusting problems of this country.
